Our Story

A Firm Built on
Principle, Not Volume

Since 1998, Meridian Law Group has grown from a small London practice into one of England's most respected independent law firms — without ever losing sight of the values that founded us: integrity, expertise, and genuine client care.

Who We Are

Twenty-Five Years
of Measured Excellence

Meridian Law Group was founded in 1998 by senior partners who believed the legal profession had lost touch with what matters most: the client. At a time when large firms were growing impersonal and volume-driven, we chose a different path — one defined by deliberate growth, senior-level attention, and an unwillingness to compromise on quality.

Today, our team of 28 lawyers and legal professionals operates from our offices at 1 Chancery Lane, advising clients across England and Wales. We remain privately owned and independent — which means every decision we make serves our clients, not shareholders.

We are proud to be SRA authorised and Lexcel accredited, and we hold the Law Society's accreditation across multiple practice areas. But the metric we care most about is simpler: 98% of our clients say they would recommend us without reservation.

What Drives Us

Our Core Values

Every engagement we take on — regardless of size or complexity — is governed by the same four principles.

Integrity Above All

We give honest advice, even when it is not what a client hoped to hear. Our reputation depends on it — and so does theirs. We will never recommend a course of action that isn't truly in your best interest.

Genuine Expertise

Specialist knowledge, not generalism. Every lawyer at Meridian operates within a defined practice area and commits to maintaining the deepest possible understanding of their field.

Personal Attention

You will always deal with your named senior partner. Instructions never get handed down a chain of junior staff. Your matter matters to us at the highest level — always.

Complete Transparency

No billing surprises. No hidden processes. You will always know the cost, the timeline, and the status of your matter. We believe transparency is the foundation of trust.

Commercial Clarity

Law exists to serve real-world outcomes. We combine legal precision with genuine commercial understanding, so our advice is practical, proportionate, and focused on your goals.

Long-Term Relationships

Over 60% of our clients have been with us for five or more years. We measure success not in transactions but in relationships — in the trust built case by case, year after year.
